No matter where you’ve had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas, there’s nowhere quite like celebrating here at home for the festive season.

We celebrate Christmas in a plethora of exciting ways in this country and today for the day that’s in it, we’ve compiled a list of some of our absolute favorites.

1) Getting a selection box from your parents/significant/brother/sister/grandparents other no matter what age you are. A Cadburys selection box is always top of our list!

2) A fresh set of pajamas on Christmas Eve, bonus points for those super-festive options. There’s nothing like looking your best for Santa!

3) Stuffing yourself to high heaven at Christmas dinner then going back for a turkey, stuffing, and crisp sandwiches a few hours later. Best served with a glass of wine!

4) Systematically siphoning away the contents of a box of Roses over the month of December.  Irish mammies are not pleased to open an empty tin on Christmas Day! (See also, giving out that the box has shrunk AGAIN since last year. Robbery!)

5) Lounging on the couch and watching ridiculous TV, from super-depressing soaps to the best of Father Ted. Oh, and Mrs Browns Boys too!
