In addition, it’s also believed to deter insects, reduce the risk of mould and remove soil impurities, so your happy house plant can go on living in peace.

Please keep in mind that activated charcoal is not the same as the BBQ charcoal you can purchase in garden stores; activated charcoal is commonly used in aquariums and can be bought in most pet shops.
